The best memories of my life are at Alexander Park. I played ball there for many years with great people, great coaches and many wonderful volunteers. Here's to another 53 years!!! Thanks for all the great memories!!

Pop Quance, Ward Avenue, looked after this park on his own when I was a little girl. We had a rink, a clubhouse, and baseball. That would have been in and around 1949. He looked after flooding the rink and keeping wood in the stove in the buiding where we could go and get warm. I think he should be mentioned somewhere on Saturday.

Fondly remember the 'founding' days of this wonderful organization, in fact, myself and husband, Brian Garry both coached in the 60s. We are forever grateful to all the NOLAN men and women who spent many an hour for the good of the neighborhood, never giving up in their quest to know that each child would be welcomed, nurtured and kept busy creating a sense of memory for the future. A shout out to My special Uncle Tony, who married a 'Nolan' as well as all the other special people that gave of their time.
